Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Cervantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Perrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cervantes's entrance music is Mother-Danzig. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrett missing with a left hand there. Cervantes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cervantes shoots for a takedown but Perrett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Perrett swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cervantes shoots in for a takedown but Perrett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cervantes won't let Perrett get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Cervantes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cervantes unloads with some shots from mount but Perrett bucks and avoids them well.

Cervantes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cervantes shoots in looking for a takedown. Perrett tries to sprawl out of it but Cervantes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perrett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
