Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Syntha Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommi Kauri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syntha Six! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tommi Kauri! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kauri shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Six manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kauri is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kauri is in close to Six's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kauri is looking to advance position but Six has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Six trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kauri really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kauri can do anything to dispel that myth. Six is thwarting Kauri's attempts to control the position. and Kauri makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kauri shoots in and bounces Six off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kauri throws and elbow that misses. Six uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kauri's guard. Nice move by Six! Kauri wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Six won't allow Kauri to sweep him here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kauri is trying to keep Six in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Syntha Six. Kauri throws a combination that misses and Six counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kauri's corner calls for a 1-2. Kauri obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Six looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Six throws a hook to the side of Kauri's head but Kauri sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Six throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kauri counters with a takedown into side control. Kauri wants to control but Six is keeping him busy. Six avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kauri. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kauri has knee on belly momentarily but Six bucks him off and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Syntha Six will probably get the nod. That's time! Six's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
