Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spart Acus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Franco!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acus drives through with a takedown into guard.
Franco is looking to stand up but Acus isn't so interested in that idea.
Franco has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Acus off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Acus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Franco's waist but Franco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Acus off to one side.
Franco closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Acus to the mat! Acus manages to get full guard.
Franco gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Robert Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Acus fails with a takedown attempt.
Acus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Acus shoots in for a takedown but Franco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spart Acus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Acus closes the distance and clinches up with Franco, looking for a takedown. Acus pushes Franco against the cage but Franco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Acus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Franco got a little sloppy there for a moment and Acus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Franco has managed to get both his arms back between Acus's legs - danger averted.
Acus is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Acus has a closed guard, preventing Franco from standing up.
Franco stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Acus shoots for a takedown but Franco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franco throws a combination. Acus tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Acus shoots in looking for a takedown but Franco manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Acus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Franco's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Franco duly obliges.
It looks like Spart Acus has been cut.
Franco looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Franco stands up from half guard.
Franco closes the distance and clinches.
Franco has hold of one of Acus's legs. Acus is fighting the takedown attempt but Franco gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Acus trying to control the position.
Franco won't allow Acus to sweep him here.
Franco is looking to stand up but Acus won't let him.
Acus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Franco is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Acus has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Franco is looking to defend but Acus has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Franco! Acus pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Franco taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Spart Acus!
