Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gayman Coolio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Harpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coolio connects with an inside leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Coolio. Those never looked like landing.
Coolio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harpenter's waist but Harpenter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coolio off to one side.
Coolio is looking to clinch but Harpenter is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Harpenter as Coolio shoots in.
Coolio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Harpenter misses with a takedown attempt
and Coolio counters with a big head kick but Harpenter shrugs it off.
Harpenter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Harpenter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Harpenter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Harpenter connects with a nice short shot to Coolio's temple.
Harpenter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coolio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Harpenter looks to land a strike but Coolio avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Harpenter thows a big elbow that misses.
Harpenter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Coolio bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harpenter's guard.
Harpenter is looking to stand up but Coolio isn't so interested in that idea.
Harpenter is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Harpenter wants to stand and escape but Coolio is having none of it.
Coolio pushes down on Harpenter's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harpenter has hold of Coolio's hands but Coolio slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harpenter can do anything to dispel that myth.
Harpenter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Coolio wants to take a breather but Harpenter is having none of it.

Harpenter is kicking away at Coolio from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Coolio grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Harpenter trying to push Coolio off... Harpenter taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
