Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Carterschmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stan Stuart has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Stuart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dion Carterschmidt! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuart shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Carterschmidt manages to get to full guard.
Carterschmidt looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stuart trying to control but Carterschmidt is working from the bottom. Carterschmidt is trying to keep Stuart in close.
Stuart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carterschmidt swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carterschmidt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stuart wants to pass the guard but Carterschmidt is keeping the position. Stuart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carterschmidt on the ground. Carterschmidt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carterschmidt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Stuart wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Carterschmidt throws an elbow but Stuart slips to the side and avoids it well. Stuart might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carterschmidt decides to stand back up. Carterschmidt steps back and let's Stuart get back to his feet. Carterschmidt throws a sloppy head kick and Stuart moves out of range easily. Stuart misses with a takedown attempt - Carterschmidt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stuart moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Stuart tries to clinch up. Carterschmidt shoots and misses and Stuart counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Carterschmidt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stuart! Stuart is breathing heavily. Carterschmidt trying to control but Stuart is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stuart manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carterschmidt is looking to take a break and control but Stuart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carterschmidt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stuart keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Carterschmidt works his foot free and advances to mount. Stuart can't escape the position.
Carterschmidt with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Carterschmidt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stuart can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stan Stuart will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stuart keeps the fight on the outside. Stuart closes the distance and pushes Carterschmidt back into the cage. Carterschmidt is struggling to control the position. Carterschmidt can't break the clinch.
Carterschmidt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stuart has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carterschmidt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Stuart can't break the clinch.

Stuart wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carterschmidt is trying to break the clinch but Stuart is controlling him. Carterschmidt breaks the clinch.
Stuart on the wrong end of a nice hook. Left hook, right uppercut from Stuart. Stuart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stuart wants it to stay on the feet. Carterschmidt is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carterschmidt shoots and misses and Stuart counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Carterschmidt striking from half guard on the bottom. Carterschmidt is looking to improve his position.
Stuart wants to control but Carterschmidt is keeping him busy. Stuart is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Carterschmidt trying to hold on to Stuart's head to control him but Stuart postures up.

Stuart is pressing down on Carterschmidt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Carterschmidt is holding on for now. Stuart content to control rather than advance. Stuart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carterschmidt's head. Stuart is thwarting Carterschmidt's attempts to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Carterschmidt throws a series of punches but Stuart avoids them all with ease. Stuart wants to clinch up but Carterschmidt keeps it at a distance. Stuart avoids the head kick by Carterschmidt.
Stuart misses with a head kick.
Carterschmidt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A head kick misses from Stuart. Stuart fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carterschmidt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stuart lands a two punch combo.
Stuart jabs at Carterschmidt's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Carterschmidt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stuart scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stan Stuart is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carterschmidt throws a head kick but Stuart moves out of range.
Stuart wants to clinch. Stuart closes the distance and clinches. Carterschmidt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stuart gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stan Stuart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dion Carterschmidt. Stuart can't break the clinch.
Carterschmidt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stuart's efforts to push away. Stuart lands with a short head shot on the inside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stuart working hard to break the clinch. Stuart prevents Carterschmidt from breaking the clinch. Stuart is trying to break the clinch but Carterschmidt is controlling him. Carterschmidt fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Stan Stuart dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Carterschmidt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stuart misses with the combination.
Carterschmidt doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stuart counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Stuart shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Stuart in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Carterschmidt wants to control but Stuart is having none of it. Carterschmidt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Stuart is landing with some decent strikes but Carterschmidt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Carterschmidt wants to control but Stuart is having none of it. Carterschmidt is in all sorts of trouble here.
