Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Runner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runner's entrance music is Kids - MGMT. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Runner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Demon! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Demon both land. Nice combination.
It looks like James Runner has been cut. Runner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Demon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Demon looking for a guillotine here but Runner defends easily.
Demon wants to stand and escape but Runner is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Runner trying to control but Demon is working from the bottom. Demon wants to improve his position but instead Runner has moved into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Demon is looking to escape. Runner missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Demon is trying to stand up here but Runner is controlling him well. Runner trying to mount his opponent but Demon defends it. Demon is trying to stand back up but Runner is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demon wants to get back to full guard. Runner stops Demon from getting back to his feet.
Demon is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Runner prevents Demon from improving his position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Demon is not content to let Runner control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Demon misses with a double jab.
Demon misses with a takedown attempt and Runner counters with a nice double leg into side control. Demon won't be happy with that. You can see the frustration on Demon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Runner wants to control but Demon is keeping him busy. Runner is breathing heavily. Runner lands a decent elbow from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Runner dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Runner's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Demon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Danga de danga de dang - Demon scores with a four punch combination! James Runner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Demon with a lazy takedown attempt and Runner counters with a shoot takedown. Demon fights it but they end up in guard. Demon throws his legs up looking for a submission but Runner uses it to pass to side control.
Demon prevents Runner from moving into mount. Runner stands up and beckons Demon to his feet. Demon lands a lovely overhand right. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Runner circles away from the clinch attempt and Runner counters with a nice double leg into guard. Demon wants to stand but Runner is controlling the position. Runner looking to sit in guard and control but Demon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Demon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Runner, up you get! Runner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Demon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Danga de danga de dang - Demon scores with a four punch combination! Runner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Demon defends it nicely. Runner leaves Demon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Demon is defended easily by Runner. James Runner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Demon. Demon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Runner. Demon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Runner on the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A shot to the liver by Demon. Beautiful body shot. Demon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A right-left combo lands from Demon. Demon throws a sloppy head kick and Runner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Demon wants to stand but Runner is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that James Runner will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on James Runner's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Runner walks into a straight right hand from Demon. Demon throws a series of punches but Runner avoids them all with ease. Demon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Runner shoots in and drives through. Demon sprawls well. Demon digs a good hook to Runner's body.
Demon tries to clinch up but Runner circles away and keeps his distance. Demon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Runner. Demon looks for the body kick but Runner saw that one coming. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon fails with a takedown attempt. Demon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Demon cracks a nice hook into Runner's ribs. Demon tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. James Runner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Demon misses with a wild combination.
Runner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Demon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Demon lands a glancing blow to the side of Runner's head. Demon wants to slow Runner down by chopping away at his legs. Demon misses with a takedown so Runner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Runner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Demon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Runner has Demon in his guard. Demon throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demon wants to stand but Runner has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Demon wants to stand but Runner is controlling his posture from full guard. Demon gets to his feet. Runner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Demon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Demon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. James Runner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Demon. The fight stays on the outside here - Demon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Demon is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Runner stuffs the takedown. Demon throws a right hand that Runner ducks under and follows up with a left that Runner also avoids with ease. James Runner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Runner shoots in looking for a takedown but Demon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Runner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jin Demon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Runner leaves Demon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Jin Demon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Runner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
