Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edd Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Bach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edd Stone! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Bach. Bach throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it. Stone closes the distance and clinches up with Bach, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes Bach against the cage but Bach circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bach circles away. Bach decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bach performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Stone wants to control but Bach is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bach keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stone misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bach controlling the pace. Stone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bach is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone wants to control but Bach is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bach tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bach seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stone misses with a takedown attempt and Bach counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sammy Bach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edd Stone. Bach misses with an uppercut. Bach misses with a hook. Bach throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it. Stone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bach. Stone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stone tries to clinch up and Bach counters with a nice double leg into guard. Stone looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bach puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bach wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bach content to control rather than advance. Stone won't allow Bach to pass to mount. Bach stands up out of the half guard. Sammy Bach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bach misses with a hook. Stone ducked under it nicely. Bach cracks Stone with a right hand to the side of the head. Stone with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bach to score with a decent uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bach swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stone has his takedown stuffed and Bach decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard. Stone looks gassed! Bach decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stone, up you get! Bach lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bach missing with a left hand there. Stone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bach throws an overhand right that lands on Stone's shoulder, as Stone tries to avoid the shot. Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bach throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it. Stone takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stone misses with a wild body shot. Stone slips a straight right by Bach. Stone forces Bach back against the cage and clinches. Bach's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stone ducks under a wild hook from Bach. Bach is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stone.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Bach throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bach blocks a head kick by Stone.
Bach throws a hook but Stone blocks it. Stone shoots and misses The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. and Bach counters with a stiff right hand. Bach lands the left hand. Good standup being displayed there by Bach as he connects with a hook. A jab from Bach finds it's way through Stone's defenses. Bach throws an overhand right that lands on Stone's shoulder, as Stone tries to avoid the shot. Bach dips to his left and cracks Stone with an uppercut! Stone moves away from the strike by Bach. Stone tries to clinch up and Bach counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bach working away. Bach decides to stand back up. Bach steps back and let's Stone get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Stone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Bach counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bach gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bach misses with an uppercut. Stone saw that one coming. Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bach works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Stone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stone fails with the takedown enabling Bach to counter with a crisp jab. Bach missing with a left hand there. Stone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stone is breathing heavily. A slow jab from Bach misses its intended target. Bach connects with a nice looking jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bach throws a hook to the side of Stone's head but Stone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bach cracks Stone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stone tries for a takedown but Bach circles away easily letting Bach counter with a right hand. Sammy Bach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edd Stone. Stone avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bach is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bach pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bach throws a hook but Stone blocks it. Bach takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bach throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stone has his takedown stuffed and Bach cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bach swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stone moves out of range as Bach strikes. Bach throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it. Bach gets a clinch. Bach's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Edd Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bach misses with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bach misses with a looping left. Bach fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stone on the side of the head. Decent striking displayed by Bach there. Stone ducks under a wild hook from Bach. Stone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bach scores with a nice right hand.

Stone has his takedown stuffed and Bach counters with a stiff right hand. A slow jab from Bach misses its intended target. Bach misses with a straight left. Bach misses with a looping right. Bach looks to land a left hand but Stone moved out of range nicely. A momentary lapse in concentration from Stone enables Bach to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bach is working Stone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bach stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stone slips under a jab from Bach. Bach looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bach is pushing down on Stone's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stone is fighting to maintain full guard but Bach has managed to sneak the leg through. Bach decides to return to a standing position. Stone takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bach waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stone. Bach thows a left - swing and a miss! Bach clobbers Stone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bach cracks Stone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A jab from Bach misses. Stone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bach misses with an uppercut. Stone saw that one coming. Bach clobbers Stone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A lazy left from Bach finds it's target. Nice defenses there by Stone. Bach misses with an uppercut. Stone closes the distance but Bach moves to the side letting Bach counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sammy Bach dominated that second round. That's time! Bach's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Stone with a lazy takedown attempt and Bach moves into the clinch. Stone wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone moves out of range of the strikes. Bach rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage. Bach manages to break the clinch.

Bach throws an overhand right that lands on Stone's shoulder, as Stone tries to avoid the shot. Bach throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bach swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bach throws a big shot that misses. Bach jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stone with a lazy takedown attempt and Bach connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stone moves out of range as Bach strikes. Stone staying out of range there. Bach throws a big shot that misses. Bach connects with a right hand. Stone shakes it off. Stone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bach is trying to defend but Stone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bach makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bach. Bach keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bach has his hands on Stone's head, controlling the position. Bach pushes Stone off and gets back to his feet.
Stone has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Stone tries to sprawl but Bach drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bach stands up and beckons Stone to join him on the feet. Jab by Bach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bach lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bach scores with a nice right hand.
Bach throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stone sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bach scores with a jab. Stone slips under a jab. Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Bach to counter with a crisp jab. Sammy Bach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edd Stone. Bach slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bach paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Stone shoots and misses and Bach counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bach controlling the pace. Bach stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
And that's the end of the fight! Sammy Bach showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bach has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
