Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between linus backer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). backer comes into the arena with 100 million dollars blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ryan Marcus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, linus backer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Marcus! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Marcus. Marcus throws a hook to the side of backer's head but backer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Marcus jabbing away but nothing is landing. Marcus misses with a wild body shot. A combination from Marcus does no damage. Marcus throws an overhand right that lands on backer's shoulder, as backer tries to avoid the shot. Marcus misses with a body shot.
backer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marcus sprawls well. Marcus wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. backer gets slowly back to his feet. backer shoots in but no luck this time. Marcus misses with a few strikes there.
backer thows a left - swing and a miss! backer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. backer throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Marcus tumbling to the canvas!
It looks like Ryan Marcus has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. backer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. backer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Marcus looks gassed! backer drops back looking for a leg! Marcus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Marcus manages to kick backer off! backer jumps back into Marcus's guard. Marcus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with backer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. backer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. backer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. backer drops back looking for a leg! Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. backer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marcus looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marcus looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marcus! backer is looking to regain half guard here but Marcus keeps moving and retains side control. backer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Marcus off and has taken his back! backer looking for the choke but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. backer working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! backer is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

backer moves out of range of the body kick. backer slips a straight right by Marcus. Marcus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Marcus looks to land a left hand but backer moved out of range nicely. Marcus loads up on a big right hand but backer slips the punch. backer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. backer is looking for a kimura but Marcus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for backer to get the leverage. backer is looking for a kimura here.

Marcus is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. backer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Marcus! backer looking to isolate an arm here. Marcus doesn't see it coming and as backer extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by backer!
