Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Green Tea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spa Reine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Green Tea!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spa Reine!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tea shoots for a takedown but Reine saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reine tries to clinch up.
Reine slow jab from Tea misses its intended target.
Tea misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reine misses with a looping left.
Tea dodges the punch combination from Reine.
Reine looks to land a body kick but Tea moved away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tea.
An elbow from Tea crashes against the mat.

Tea is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tea throws a strike aimed at the side of Reine's head but Reine avoids it well.

Tea bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Tea is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tea on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tea takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reine tries to clinch but Tea moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Reine as Tea shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Green Tea. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reine moves in looking to clinch but Tea pushes him off.

Tea decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tea uses his free foot to push down on Reine's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reine.
Reine holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Tea tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tea cracks Reine with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Tea throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Tea misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Reine lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Green Tea has been cut.
Green Tea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reine blocks a low kick nicely.
Tea throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tea throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reine's waist but Reine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tea off to one side.

Tea closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reine to the mat! Reine manages to get full guard.

Reine is looking to stand up but Tea won't let him.

Tea thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reine misses with a low kick as Tea jumps back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Reine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tea swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Tea or perhaps it was just good defense by Reine which made him look bad.

Tea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Green Tea overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Spa Reine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Tea fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reine manages to avoid it.

Tea shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reine's guard.
Tea is looking to work some ground and pound but Reine has wrist control.

Tea postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Reine is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tea, into his guard.
Tea doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Spa Reine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Reine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
