Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pixar Bonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonan comes into the arena with Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Castro moves forwards but Bonan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd cheers as Castro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bonan doesn't seem phased though.
Bonan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Castro stalks Bonan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bonan's face. Bonan staggers backwards, shaken.

Castro tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bonan counters with a straight right hand.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Castro moves away from the strike by Bonan.
Castro throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bonan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bonan shoots in looking for a takedown but Castro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bonan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bonan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Castro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Castro tries to clinch but Bonan is having none of it.
Castro leaves Bonan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pixar Bonan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Castro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Castro wants it to stay on the feet.

Bonan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Castro moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Pixar Bonan has been cut.
Castro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Castro feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bonans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bonan scores with a one two! Castro had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Castro throws a right hand that Bonan ducks under and follows up with a left that Bonan also avoids with ease.
Castro slips a jab and a cross from Bonan.

Bonan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Castro lands an overhand right.
Bonan misses with a takedown attempt - Castro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bonan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bonan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castro manages to avoid it.
Castro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bonan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Castro counters with a series of strikes. Bonan will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bonan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Castro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bonan is in Castro's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Castro can do anything to dispel that myth.
Castro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bonan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bonan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Castro's guard.
Bonan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bonan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Castro is in trouble now - Bonan has advanced to mount!
Castro in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonan is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Castro is forced to tap! Great finish!
