Thompkins fails with a takedown attempt.
Thompkins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thompkins wants to control but Maryozep is keeping him busy.
Maryozep regains half guard.
Maryozep tries to roll over but Thompkins keeps him under control.
Thompkins is stalling here. Maryozep is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Thompkins seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Maryozep has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Thompkins tries to buck Maryozep off but Maryozep is having none of it.
Maryozep working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Thompkins is looking for a sweep.

Maryozep has the hooks in. Thompkins is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Maryozep passes his arm under Thompkins's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Thompkins taps!
