Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Adebisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cardinal Venom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adebisi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dr Alban - Hello Africa. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom tries to clinch there but Adebisi circles away.
Venom scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Adebisi scores with a decent looking hook.
Adebisi throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Cardinal Venom has been cut.
Adebisi swats away the attempt to clinch by Venom.
Venom tries to clinch up.
Adebisi closes the distance and clinches.
Venom has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Adebisi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Venom tries to pull guard but Adebisi won't allow it.

Adebisi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Venom shoots for a double leg takedown but Adebisi sprawls well. He's pushed Venom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Adebisi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Adebisi is pushing down on Venom's leg trying to pass to half guard. Venom is fighting to maintain full guard but Adebisi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Adebisi is looking to advance position but Venom won't allow it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adebisi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Adebisi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Adebisi.
Venom jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Adebisi walks away with a smile on his face. Venom gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
