Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carey Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes into the arena with Jack The Ripper - Nick Cave blaring out of the sound system. Williams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Supermassive Black Hole by Muse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Winchester is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carey Williams! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Winchester shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. Winchester throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. Winchester shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Winchester throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Winchester is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Williams blocks a head kick by Winchester.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winchester tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Winchester fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Winchester. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Winchester shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Winchester keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Winchester throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Winchester off to one side. Winchester is breathing heavily. Winchester fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Winchester fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Williams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Winchester has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams advances nicely into full mount. Williams is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Winchester is surviving well by controlling Williams's body position as best he can. Williams looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams wants to take Winchester's back but he can't do it this time. Williams jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Winchester manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams tries for a kimura but Winchester is defending well. Williams has knee on belly and moves into mount. Williams works his way to his opponent's back.
Winchester rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Williams is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams shoots in and bounces Winchester off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Winchester is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Winchester swivels though and keeps the full guard. Winchester looking for a sweep. Not yet Winchester, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Winchester, who protects the arm well. Winchester manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Winchester is working for a submission of some sort.
Williams is refusing to be controlled, as Winchester sits in half guard. Williams looking for submissions off his back. Winchester missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winchester tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Williams. Winchester looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Williams is not content to let Winchester control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Winchester with a poor takedown so Williams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Winchester wriggles free and stands up. Winchester doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Jack Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.

Winchester tries to lock up and control but Williams gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Williams working for a guillotine from mount but Winchester is in no mood to give up. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Winchester manages to avoid the submission attempt. Carey Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Winchester is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. Williams advances to half guard. Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Winchester is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Winchester defend it? Williams steps over the head and cranks it - Winchester is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Williams!
