Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Salakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Salakka!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Salakka misses.

Salakka takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sami Salakka was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Salakka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tyson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salakka as he avoids it easily.
Salakka tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tyson is able to avoid easily.

Tyson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tyson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Salakka takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tyson is stalling here. Salakka is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tyson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Salakka has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Tyson has one foot on Salakka's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Tyson will probably get the nod.
