Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denisov Bad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denisov Bad!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bad.
Miller wants to control but Bad postures up.
Miller tries to improve position but can't.
Bad is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Miller tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bad presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bad lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bad wants to take Miller's back here but Miller is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Bad working the ground and pound effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bad swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Miller is now in Bad's guard. A big mistake from Bad there, giving up the dominant position!
Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bad pulls Miller in to control the position.
Miller wants to control from the top but Bad keeps moving.
Miller won't allow Bad to sweep him here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bad is trying to control the position but Miller postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jake Miller.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt

and Bad counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bad.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bad gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Bad looks like he's trying to stand up.
Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bad tries to hold on but Miller pushes him away.

Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Miller lands a big elbow.
Bad working to try and regain half guard.
Miller landing strikes, looking to finish!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bad tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Miller with the ground and pound from mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Miller is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bad has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Denisov Bad will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bad is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Bad is keeping the position.

Bad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bad wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.
Bad is breathing heavily.
Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Miller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Bad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Jake Miller wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Miller fails with the takedown

so Bad counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Miller wriggles free and stands up.

Miller has taken the fight to the clinch.

Miller breaks from the clinch.

Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bad is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Bad is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Miller stalling away here and it's allowed Bad to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Bad can't keep his opponent in guard - Miller advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Miller postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bad to stand up.

Miller takes the fight into the clinch.

Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bad uses from the top position.

Bad looking to sit in guard and control but Miller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Miller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Miller stands up and waves to Bad to follow him.

Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into Bad's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Miller dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bad did well to prevent Miller getting side control.

Miller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Miller wants to stand but Bad has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Miller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bad defends it well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Miller is just content to waste time from the top position. Bad takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bad keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.

Jake Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bad tries to clinch but Miller moves away

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bad won't be happy with that.

Miller working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bad looks to move to half guard but instead Miller has passed into mount! Damn!
Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller lands a nice shot to the head.
Miller tries to control but Bad wriggling away.
Miller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bad's face.
Bad wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bad really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Miller scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Miller trying to control but Bad is having none of it.
Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jake Miller showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
