Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stein has chosen Rolling Stones - Paint it Black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Marley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Stein! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Stein. No joy for Marley on that attempt. Stein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marley doesn't seem bothered though. Stein misses with an uppercut. Stein misses the shot to the body. Stein misses with a body shot.
Marley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stein sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marley slips under a jab. Stein drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stein lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stein lands a decent elbow from side control. Stein cracks Marley with an elbow. That is naaassty. Marley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Marley is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marley takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

You can see the frustration on Marley's face as Stein controls the position. Marley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Stein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Marley is breathing heavily. Stein happy to just control the position for now. Marley is not content to let Stein control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein landing strikes. Stein slows the pace down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stein working the head and body with strikes. Stein landing a few strikes. Stein landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marley trying to remain calm as Stein controls from the top position. Marley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stein on the ground. Marley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Stein landing a few strikes. Marley is trying to improve his position. Marley is not content to let Stein control the position. Stein working the head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Stein's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Stein scoring with punches from side control. Oh Marley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Marley is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A big shot lands for Stein! That's hurt Marley! Will he recover? Stein fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
