The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Dick has CPW up against the cage in a clinch.
CPW jumps guard but Van Der Dick stands there with CPW around his waist. CPW gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Van Der Dick pulls guard effortlessly.
CPW trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
CPW is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
CPW thows a big elbow that misses.
CPW must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

CPW throws his legs up looking for a submission but Van Der Dick uses it to pass to side control.

Van Der Dick tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Van Der Dick has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Van Der Dick is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so CPW is just riding it out for now. Van Der Dick eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Egbert Van Der Dick will probably get the nod.

CPW scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
CPW throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Van Der Dick was covering up waiting for the punch and CPW finishes the takedown easily into guard.
