Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pizzazz Longez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamble has chosen Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pizzazz Longez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Gamble! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gamble moves away. Longez takes a swing at Gamble's ribcage but misses. Longez jabs Gamble to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gamble shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Longez sprawls well. Longez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gamble gets slowly back to his feet. Longez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Longez takes a swing at Gamble's ribcage but misses. Gamble shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Longez as he jumps to the side. Gamble fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Longez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Longez is looking to clinch. Longez misses with a looping left. Gamble throws a body kick that misses. Longez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gamble circles away quickly and effectively. Gamble looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Longez misses with a body shot.
Longez walks into a straight right hand from Gamble. Longez is looking to wear down Gamble with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Longez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gamble. Longez looks to land a combination but Gamble avoids it well. Gamble slips under a jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gamble. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Longez tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Longez is trying to control Gamble's posture but Gamble avoids it. Gamble tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Longez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gamble controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Longez is trying to get back to his feet. Longez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longez tries to get out of the position. Gamble is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Longez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Longez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gamble on the ground. Longez is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamble swings around for an armbar but Longez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gamble's guard. Gamble is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Longez is aware though and is defending well. Longez wanted to stand there but Gamble had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gamble looking to hit a scissor sweep but Longez is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gamble not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gamble is looking to stand back up but Longez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gamble. Gamble has a hand on Longez's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Longez takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sam Gamble will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Longez throws a hook but Gamble avoids it easily. Gamble attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Gamble takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A head kick misses from Gamble. Longez lands a jab to the head.
Gamble fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Longez sprawls well initially but Gamble persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Longez controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Gamble is looking to stall here but Longez recovers full guard. Gamble is breathing heavily. Gamble prevents Longez from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gamble slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Longez wants to get back to his feet but Gamble is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Longez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gamble wants to control from the top but Longez keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Gamble was stalling too much, according to the referee. Gamble closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gamble ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Horrible takedown by Gamble or perhaps it was just good defense by Longez which made him look bad. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gamble. Longez misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamble gets a takedown into half guard. Well, if Gamble is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Longez is controlling Gamble's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Longez wants to control but Gamble is keeping busy.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Longez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Longez thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice takedown defense from Longez. No joy for Gamble on that attempt. Pizzazz Longez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Gamble. Longez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Longez misses the shot to the body. Longez swings for the body but Gamble moves out of range.
Longez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gamble was well out of range. Poor timing from Longez. Longez cracks Gamble with a good jab.
It looks like Sam Gamble has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Longez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gamble circles away quickly and effectively. Jab, jab by Longez - just one landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pizzazz Longez dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Sam Gamble's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Longez connects with a right that clearly hurt Gamble. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Longez proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Gamble collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pizzazz Longez!
