The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Knox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rua takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rua is looking to clinch.
Rua wants to clinch up but Knox keeps it at a distance.
Knox throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rua avoids a punch combination nicely.
Knox connects with a crisp jab.
Knox throws a series of strikes that have Rua backpedaling.

Knox throws a hook to the side of Rua's head but Rua sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rua fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Knox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knox throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rua moves out of range of the strikes.
Rua fails in his attempt to clinch.
Knox lands with an uppercut that bounces Rua off the cage and back into rage.
Rua moves in looking to clinch but Knox pushes him off.
Rua tries to clinch but Knox is having none of it.
