The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Smith throws a front kick that sends Ruska stumbling back into the cage.
Ruska throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Smith makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ruska is breathing heavily.
Ruska swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith scores with a three punch combo!
Oooooh!!! Smith has knocked Ruska down with a huge combo! Smith steps away and waves a wobbly Ruska back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Artum Ruska has been cut.
Smith sends Ruska crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smith is motioning to the referee to let Ruska up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ruska is rocked!
Smith throws out a powerful jab.
Oh Ruska is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Ruska right on the button. Ruska goes down! Smith follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Smith gets the win via TKO!
