Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joosep Toots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Diniz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toots kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is dogs out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Diniz! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diniz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Toots to the mat! Toots manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diniz is looking to work some ground and pound but Toots has wrist control. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Diniz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

He's pushed Diniz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diniz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Toots is fending him off so far but Diniz persists. Nope, Toots circles away and we're back to standing. Toots's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Toots duly obliges. Diniz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Toots throws a jab but it's blocked by Diniz. Nice defenses there by Diniz. Toots stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Toots wants it to stay on the feet. Joosep Toots has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Diniz. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diniz moves forwards but Toots connects with a nice, crisp jab. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Toots connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Diniz momentarily.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toots walks away with a smile on his face. Diniz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Joosep Toots seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diniz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Diniz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
