Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between J Blunts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunts comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Hits From the Bong. Fatts has chosen Hit Em Up by Tupac as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, J Blunts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Fatts!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fatts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fatts landing strikes from the mount.
Fatts lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Blunts working to try and regain half guard.
Fatts lands a nice shot to the head.

Fatts is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Blunts has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fatts sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blunts is looking to get to half guard.
Blunts in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fatts breaks from Blunts's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Blunts is desperately trying to improve his position but Fatts has a good base and remains in mount.

Fatts goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Blunts turns into him and now he's in Fatts's guard.

Blunts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fatts wants to sweep here but Blunts controlling him for the moment.

Blunts throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blunts decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fatts slips under a jab from Blunts.
Blunts works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fatts looks to land a left hand but Blunts moved out of range nicely.
Blunts thows a body shot but no joy.

Blunts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blunts wants it to stay on the feet.
Blunts throws a big shot that misses.
Blunts looks to land a left hand but Fatts moved out of range nicely.
Fatts shoots for a takedown but Blunts saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blunts thows a left - swing and a miss!
Blunts moves in looking to clinch but Fatts pushes him off.
Fatts takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Blunts lands a head shot.
Blunts throws a body punch but Fatts moves out of range.
Blunts chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fatts takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fatts.
J Blunts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Fatts.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blunts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fatts has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fatts and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blunts moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blunts tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jay Fatts will probably get the nod.

Fatts shoots in but no luck this time.
Blunts throws a shot to the body.

Fatts shoots in and gets a takedown into Blunts's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Blunts manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blunts prevents Fatts from getting the reversal.
Fatts is squirming around, avoiding Blunts's attempts to control the action.

Blunts with shots to the head and body - Fatts looks very uncomfortable down there.

Blunts moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fatts has worked his arm free - good work by Fatts!
Blunts throwing strikes but Fatts manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Fatts moves into full mount!

Fatts lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blunts hang on?
Fatts lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blunts regains half guard.
Fatts trying to advance position but Blunts counters by regaining guard.
Fatts trying to control the position from guard on top but Blunts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fatts is in close to Blunts's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fatts in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Blunts has his foot on Fatts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fatts works his way back into a safe position though.

Fatts is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Blunts is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Blunts has escaped and now he's on top!

Fatts wants to get back to full guard.

Fatts is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blunts pulls his head out easily.
Fatts is looking for a sweep. Blunts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Blunts is pressing down on Fatts's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fatts is holding on for now.
Blunts is stalling here. Fatts is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Blunts seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fatts has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blunts is looking for a sweep.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Blunts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fatts shoots in but Blunts avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fatts shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
J Blunts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Fatts.
Fatts shoots in looking for a takedown but Blunts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fatts's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Blunts lands a nice hook to Fatts's body. Fatts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fatts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blunts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fatts was well out of range. Poor timing from Blunts.

Blunts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blunts swats away the attempt to clinch by Fatts.

Fatts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blunts's guard.
Blunts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fatts wants to improve his position but Blunts is controlling well.
Blunts is looking to advance position but Fatts won't allow it.
Jay Fatts has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Blunts is nestled in close to Fatts, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Blunts trying to control the action but Fatts is working from the bottom.
Blunts passes to full mount!

Blunts pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fatts is desperately trying to improve his position but Blunts has a good base and remains in mount.

Blunts stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Blunts connects with an inside leg kick.

Fatts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fatts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blunts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fatts has managed to get both his arms back between Blunts's legs - danger averted.

Blunts utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fatts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Blunts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fatts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

J Blunts showed his dominance in that final round.
