Yataki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jingle bells. Michael Winchester has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Taeko Yataki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Winchester! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester scores with a spinning back kick! Yataki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Winchester blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yataki. Winchester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yataki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yataki slips a nice elbow through Winchester's hands, connecting with Winchester's forehead. Yataki missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Yataki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Winchester sees it coming and defends easily. Yataki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Winchester defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yataki lands strikes from half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Winchester looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Yataki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Winchester sees it coming and defends easily. Yataki is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yataki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Winchester is looking for a sweep. Yataki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Yataki uses his free foot to push down on Winchester's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Winchester. Yataki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Winchester is surviving well by controlling Yataki's body position as best he can. Winchester tries to improve his position but instead Yataki has taken his back! Yataki is working for a rear naked choke. Winchester is not defending it well and Yataki has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Winchester refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Winchester's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Taeko Yataki!
