Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Jackman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hans Beuys! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jackman in side control lands a decent elbow. Jackman landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jackman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Beuys manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jackman's best efforts. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackman with the ground and pound but Beuys uses the opportunity to regain guard. Beuys is pulling down on Jackman's head. It's preventing any offense from Jackman, at least for the moment. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackman dives in and grabs Beuys's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beuys pushes down on Jackman's head and hops out. Beuys throws an overhand right that lands on Jackman's shoulder, as Jackman tries to avoid the shot.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hans Beuys hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Beuys stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beuys wants it to stay on the feet. Beuys swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jackman defending well as Beuys loads up on a big left hand. Jackman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beuys tries to avoid it but Jackman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beuys to the ground. Beuys escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackman shoots in looking for a takedown but Beuys manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beuys changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Beuys wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackman keeps working. And that's the end of the fight! Hans Beuys comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Beuys has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
