Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikola Zrinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andi Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zrinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sharp is trying to get back to full guard.
Zrinski is trying to control the action in half guard but Sharp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Zrinski missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Sharp is positioning himself well to prevent Zrinski advancing to mount.
Sharp wants to improve his position but Zrinski is controlling well.
Zrinski trying to mount his opponent but Sharp defends it.
Sharp is trying to control but can't.
Sharp is looking to improve his position.
Sharp trying to control but Zrinski postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sharp misses with a kick to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zrinski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zrinski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sharp.
Zrinski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sharp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nikola Zrinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp looks to throw the jab but Zrinski is out of range.

Sharp gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Zrinski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sharp tries for a kimura but Zrinski is defending well.
Sharp passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Zrinski!
Sharp pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sharp punishing his opponent with strikes.
Sharp wants to control the pace but Zrinski is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sharp throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zrinski because Sharp loaded up on that one.
Sharp has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sharp has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Zrinski is forced to tap!
