Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yabal throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Thomas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Yabal.
Thomas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yabal.
Yabal jabs at Thomas's body.
Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yabal circles away quickly and effectively.
Yabal tries to clinch up but Thomas circles away and keeps his distance.
Thomas drops his hands momentarily and Yabal takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Yabal fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yabal ducks under a wild hook from Thomas.
Yabal scores with a kick to the body.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Yabal connects with a right hand. Thomas shakes it off.
Thomas is rocked!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yabal creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Thomas's defenses.
Thomas takes an elbow to the temple.
Yabal landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Yabal lands an elbow just above Thomas 's eye.
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Yabal.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas takes an elbow to the temple.
Yabal lands a damaging elbow.
Yabal unloads a knee to the mid-section. Thomas lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Yabal putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Thomas in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Yabal obliges.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Yabal.
Thomas takes an elbow to the forehead.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yabal creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Thomas is pressed against the cage. Yabal pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Thomas! Two more big strikes from Yabal and Thomas crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Hannu Yabal!
