Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kab Kaynon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kab Kaynon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Jackson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kab Kaynon! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaynon wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance. Kaynon throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kaynon avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Kab Kaynon has been cut. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jackson throws a head kick but Kaynon moves out of range.
Kaynon fails with the takedown. Kaynon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Kaynon getting side control. Kaynon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kaynon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaynon stands up out of the half guard. Kaynon scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Kaynon is proving a slippery customer.
Kaynon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now. Kaynon drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Kaynon off! Kaynon jumps back into Jackson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaynon tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. Kaynon controlling from the top position. Kaynon works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jackson is staying active underneath Kaynon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaynon tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it. Kaynon passes to side control. Kaynon takes a little break here. Jackson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kaynon tries for a kimura but Jackson is defending well. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson is not content to let Kaynon control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kaynon lands some shots froms side control. Kaynon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A lull in the action here. Jackson tries to buck Kaynon off but Kaynon is having none of it. Kaynon landing a few strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kab Kaynon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kab Kaynon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Kaynon. Kaynon shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Kaynon misses with a low kick.
Kaynon tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. Kaynon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Kaynon getting side control. Kaynon sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kaynon trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. Kaynon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson trying to control but Kaynon postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kaynon thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kab Kaynon. Jackson moves out of range of the leg kick from Kaynon. Decent striking displayed by Kaynon there. Kaynon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kaynon clinches up against the cage. Kaynon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage. Frank Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kab Kaynon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaynon pulls Jackson into guard.
Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Kaynon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well. Kaynon trying to keep a closed guard but Jackson is proving a slippery customer.
Kaynon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kaynon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaynon stands up from half guard. Kaynon shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Jackson misses with a body kick. Kaynon takes the fight into the clinch. Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kaynon is trying to drag Jackson to the mat but Jackson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jackson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jackson pulls guard successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson keeping full guard, as Kaynon tries to pass. Kaynon throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely. Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaynon's guard. Kaynon is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Kaynon manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kaynon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kaynon. Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kab Kaynon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kab Kaynon's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kaynon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. Kaynon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kaynon sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Kaynon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kaynon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jackson controlling the action here. Kaynon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kaynon. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaynon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kaynon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jackson is controlling him. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jackson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kab Kaynon wasn't active enough on the ground. Kaynon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Frank Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kab Kaynon. Kaynon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jackson avoids it. Jackson breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaynon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kaynon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kaynon looking for a sweep. Not yet Kaynon, not yet. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaynon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson is really struggling to control Kaynon but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kab Kaynon has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kaynon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaynon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Jackson. Kaynon fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jackson checks it well. A clash of legs there as Jackson blocks the low kick. Kaynon lands with an overhand left. Kaynon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kaynon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kaynon jumps guard.
Frank Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kab Kaynon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kaynon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Jackson. I think Kaynon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
