Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gaines as he avoids it easily.

Silas stands up and beckons Gaines to join him on the feet.

Silas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Gaines is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Gaines is stalling here. Silas is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gaines seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silas has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Gaines decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silas wants to control but Gaines is keeping busy.

Silas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaines can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gaines's face.
Silas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gaines looks a forlorn figure.
