Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between sam miguel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amazing- Kanye West. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, sam miguel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid Singh!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh shoots in looking for a takedown. miguel tries to sprawl out of it but Singh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. miguel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Singh swats away the attempt to clinch by miguel.
miguel tries to clinch there but Singh circles away.

Singh gets tackled into the cage by miguel. miguel maintains the clinch.
miguel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

miguel has hold of one of Singh's legs. Singh is fighting the takedown attempt but miguel gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Singh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

miguel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, miguel has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

miguel has taken the fight to the clinch.
miguel lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Singh.

miguel has Singh up against the cage in a clinch.

miguel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

miguel shoots in and gets a takedown into Singh's guard.

miguel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Singh, up you get!

miguel has closed the distance and engaged Singh in a clinch.

miguel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
miguel tries to clinch up.
miguel misses with a series of wild punches.

miguel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Singh tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. miguel is in Singh's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

miguel gets to his feet. Singh looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

miguel pushes Singh up against the cage in a clinch.
miguel pushes off an throws an elbow but Singh leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

miguel is pushing Singh up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Nice body punch from miguel - that landed with a thud.
miguel throws an elbow but it's blocked.

miguel breaks from the clinch.
miguel misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Singh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Singh prevents miguel from getting back to his feet.

miguel wriggles free and stands up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

miguel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

miguel moves into range and clinches up with Singh.
miguel is working Singh over against the cage.

miguel lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
miguel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Singh's head.

Singh looking for submissions from the bottom but instead miguel passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
miguel wants to take a breather but Singh is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
miguel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
miguel slips a nice elbow through Singh's hands, connecting with Singh's forehead.
miguel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

miguel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Singh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but miguel pulls his head out easily.
Singh has hold of miguel's hands but miguel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

miguel is trying to control. Singh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Singh is trying to defend against the ground and pound but miguel scores with a couple of nice shots.

miguel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
miguel doesn't manage to clinch there - Singh circles away.

miguel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
miguel in side control lands a decent elbow.
Singh is breathing heavily.
miguel grinds an elbow into Singh's temple.
miguel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Singh down.
sam miguel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Singh tries to improve position but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.

miguel is working to tighten is grip on Singh's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Singh has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but miguel is really squeezing tight and eventually Singh passes out! miguel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). sam miguel!
