Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, peter tremain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, don dunn! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! tremain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. dunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. tremain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. tremain fails with an attempt to clinch.
tremain shoots for a takedown but dunn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. tremain is trying hard to land a takedown here. dunn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for peter tremain. That's going to take a lot out of him. tremain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. tremain wants to lay and pray for a moment but dunn keeps working. tremain trying to mount his opponent but dunn defends it. dunn trying to get back to full guard but tremain takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. tremain is looking for a choke. dunn gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. dunn manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. tremain keeping full guard, as dunn tries to pass. tremain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. dunn is aware though and is defending well. tremain trying to keep a closed guard but dunn is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. dunn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
dunn tries to free his leg and advance position but tremain is retaining full guard. tremain wants to sweep but no luck. tremain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst dunn is controlling him. dunn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. dunn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. tremain wants to sweep but no luck. tremain fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with dunn, pushing him back against the cage. tremain lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. dunn breaks the clinch.
tremain shoots in but no luck this time. dunn throws a right and a left that both miss. A combination from dunn does no damage. tremain tries to clinch up but dunn circles away and keeps his distance. dunn fails with the takedown and tremain counters with a shoot takedown. dunn fights it but they end up in guard. tremain trying to control the position from guard on top but dunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. tremain gets to his feet - dunn follows without any prompting. dunn tries to bum rush tremain with a series of wild strikes but tremain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. dunn throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That's one minute gone in the round. dunn tries to clinch up and tremain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. dunn drops down looking for an ankle pick but tremain pulls his leg out and moves away.
dunn scores with a takedown into tremain's guard. dunn is breathing heavily. tremain wants to sweep here but dunn controlling him for the moment. tremain trying to keep a closed guard but dunn is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. tremain wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. tremain has a closed guard, preventing dunn from standing up. dunn preventing the sweep. tremain looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up because peter tremain just wasn't active enough. dunn thows a body kick. tremain tries to catch it but that hurt him. tremain closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. dunn did well to prevent tremain getting side control. dunn is trying to maintain the position but tremain is very close to passing his half guard. dunn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. tremain sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. dunn defending well though. dunn trying to hold on to tremain's head to control him but tremain postures up.
tremain tries to pass the half guard into mount. dunn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. tremain is nestled in close to dunn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. tremain is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. dunn trying to control from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. dunn is looking to get back to full guard here but tremain has managed to pass to side control instead. dunn wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. dunn trying to control the hands but tremain breaks the grip. dunn is trying to remain composed but tremain is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. tremain looking for the choke from the back. dunn wants to get back to his feet. Good control from tremain. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

tremain decides to stand back up. tremain steps back and let's dunn get back to his feet. tremain throws a sloppy head kick and dunn counters with a straight punch to the midsection. dunn takes the fight into the clinch. dunn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. tremain breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. dunn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from tremain. dunn moves out of range as tremain strikes. dunn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. tremain misses with a jab, cross combination.

tremain goes for a takedown attempt but dunn pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
tremain tries to grapple but his opponent circles and dunn counters with a stiff right hand. tremain tries to clinch but dunn moves away and dunn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for tremain!

dunn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as tremain is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by dunn. dunn is landing with some decent strikes but tremain is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. A nice elbow there by dunn. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! tremain tries to lock up and control but dunn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. dunn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. tremain can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. tremain wants to control but dunn is having none of it. dunn moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, tremain has worked his arm free - good work by tremain!
tremain is looking to reverse the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. dunn prevents tremain from escaping the position. dunn working away. dunn trying to control the position but tremain is working away. tremain tries to improve position but can't. tremain tries to control the position but he's not in luck - dunn easily slips into full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. dunn controlling the position easily from mount.
