Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dany Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and stephen chiver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hammerhead . Dany Boon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
chiver looks for a takedown but Boon sprawls well.
Boon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
chiver has managed to clinch.
chiver manages to break the clinch.
Boon fails with a takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts chiver, as that shot connected.
chiver throws a head kick that misses.
chiver tries to land a front kick but Boon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
chiver gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
chiver wants to stand up but Boon is controlling him.
Boon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! chiver is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! chiver has escaped and now he's on top!

Boon keeping moving, preventing chiver from controlling successfully.
chiver is in close to Boon's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Boon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. chiver defends it easily.
chiver tries to stand but Boon is controlling from the bottom.
chiver lands a couple of elbows.
chiver won't allow Boon to sweep him here.
chiver controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
chiver is looking to stand up but Boon won't let him.
chiver trying to control but Boon is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
stephen chiver has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
chiver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
chiver fails in his attempt to clinch.
chiver pushes Boon up against the cage in a clinch.
chiver lands a knee to the head.
Boon is fighting off a takedown attempt but chiver is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Boon to the mat. Boon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
chiver stays in close to Boon's body and controls the position.

Boon working for a triangle but chiver defends it easily.
Boon looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but chiver puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Boon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but chiver pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Boon looking for submissions off his back.

Boon tries to roll over but chiver keeps him under control.

chiver wants to pass to mount but Boon is defending the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Boon drops back looking for a leg! chiver is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and chiver manages to kick Boon off! Boon jumps back into chiver's guard.
Boon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but chiver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boon has chiver in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Boon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and chiver defends well.
chiver wants to stand but Boon is controlling his posture from full guard.
chiver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Boon pulls chiver in close to his closed guard and prevents chiver from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
chiver wants to control from the top but Boon keeps moving.

chiver postures up in Boon's guard and throws a big left but Boon blocks it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. stephen chiver hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
chiver tries to clinch up.
chiver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boon swivels and escapes.
Boon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

chiver is looking to control Boon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can chiver avoid being mounted?
Boon is working for a kimura but chiver is defending it quite comfortably.
