Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Budden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Budden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Raul Santiago! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Budden does no damage. The fighters circling - Budden throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Budden throws a big shot that misses. Santiago misses with a few strikes there.
Santiago slips a jab from Budden. Budden throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Santiago dodges the punch combination from Budden.
Santiago drops Budden with a beautiful combination! Budden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Santiago is looking for the KO! Budden misses with a double jab
and Santiago counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Budden scores with a one two! Santiago had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Santiago lands a jab. Budden waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Santiago. Budden misses with a combination
and Santiago counters with a lovely shot to the body. Budden lands with an overhand left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Budden misses with a double jab
and Santiago counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Joe Budden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Budden throws a combination that misses and Santiago counters with a lovely straight right hand! Budden looks to land a combination but Santiago avoids it well. Budden swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Santiago counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Budden is breathing heavily. Santiago lands a left and a right that send Budden crashing to the mat, dazed. Santiago thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circling - Santiago throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Budden throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Santiago counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Budden to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Santiago!
