Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jasmin Bonsant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonsant's entrance music is Thunderstruck. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonsant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lester pinned against the cage. Lester gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lester scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lester perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lester might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bonsant kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lester tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lester has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lester is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bonsant has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lester lands a nice forearm strike.

Lester has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bonsant.

Bonsant's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Bonsant counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lester won't be happy with that.

Lester tries to move into range but Bonsant moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lester takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bonsant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bonsant dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lester. That did some damage!

Bonsant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bonsant is pushing down on Lester's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lester is fighting to maintain full guard but Bonsant has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bonsant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lester looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
