Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lertphong Thongoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lertphong Thongoon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dew Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lertphong Thongoon! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thongoon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thongoon with a body punch. A glancing blow. Thongoon throws a head kick that misses. Thongoon lands a really nice looking cross but Rain seems unphased.
Thongoon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Thongoon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Thongoon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thongoon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. You can see the frustration on Rain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rain sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rain is not content to let Thongoon control the position. Rain misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Thongoon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Thongoon's back! Rain goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Rain takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Thongoon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rain has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Thongoon. Thongoon darts in and clinches Rain up against the cage. Rain wants a takedown.

Thongoon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Rain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thongoon's waist but Thongoon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rain off to one side. Thongoon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Thongoon misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thongoon's head. Thongoon is defending against the submission attempts here by Rain.
Thongoon won't allow Rain to pass to mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thongoon manages to get to full guard.
Rain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lertphong Thongoon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dew Rain's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain goes for an armbar but Thongoon turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Thongoon. Rain looking for a sweep. Not yet Rain, not yet. Rain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thongoon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rain tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thongoon wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Dew Rain showed his dominance in that final round. I think Thongoon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
