Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takahashi Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harva Hammas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Japan Musik Instrumental . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takahashi Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harva Hammas!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Yamamoto misses.
Yamamoto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Yamamoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Yamamoto does no damage.
Hammas is looking to clinch.

Hammas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yamamoto sprawls well initially but Hammas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hammas in particular looking to stall.
Hammas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yamamoto's head.
Hammas wants to take a breather but Yamamoto is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammas throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Hammas gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Yamamoto misses with a two punch combination.
Hammas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yamamoto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hammas somewhat.

Hammas closes the distance and pushes Yamamoto back into the cage.
Yamamoto is trying to force a seperation but Hammas has the dominant position.

Yamamoto manages to break the clinch.
Hammas throws a series of punches but Yamamoto moves out of range.
Hammas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Yamamoto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yamamoto throws a combination that misses

and Hammas counters with a takedown into side control.

Sloppy strikes there by Hammas.

Hammas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yamamoto has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hammas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hammas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hammas trying to control the position but Yamamoto is working away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hammas decides to stand up, so the ref orders Yamamoto to his feet.
Hammas throws a head kick but Yamamoto moves out of range.

Hammas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hammas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yamamoto is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harva Hammas dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Hammas drives through and clinches with Yamamoto against the cage.

Yamamoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Yamamoto. Those never looked like landing.
Yamamoto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No joy there for Yamamoto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hammas.

Hammas stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hammas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hammas clinches up against the cage.
Hammas taking a breather.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammas wants a takedown.

Hammas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Takahashi Yamamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hammas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hammas content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Yamamoto is trying to stand back up but Hammas is controlling him

Hammas is trying to control. Yamamoto wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Harva Hammas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Hammas decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Yamamoto misses with a combination

and Hammas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hammas.
Hammas looking to sit in guard and control but Yamamoto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Yamamoto slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Hammas.

Yamamoto is thwarting Hammas's attempts to control the position.

Hammas looking for submissions off his back.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hammas moves into full guard.
Hammas wants to get back to his feet but Yamamoto is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harva Hammas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Hammas tries to clinch but Yamamoto moves out of range.
Hammas dives in and grabs Yamamoto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yamamoto pushes down on Hammas's head and hops out.
Yamamoto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hammas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yamamoto won't be happy with that.
A lull in the action here as Hammas stalls from top position.

Hammas decides to stand back up.
Yamamoto misses with a double jab.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamamoto walks into a jab.
Some wild striking there from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Hammas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hammas takes a little break here. Yamamoto wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Hammas throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammas is trying to ground and pound but Yamamoto uses the momentary lack of control by Hammas to regain half guard.
Yamamoto is not content to let Hammas control the position.
Hammas wants to free his trapped foot but Yamamoto is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hammas prevents Yamamoto from standing back up.
Hammas with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Hammas wants to take a breather but Yamamoto is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hammas works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hammas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Harva Hammas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Harva Hammas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hammas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
