Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Beerly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Murpy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murpy has chosen Victory as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murpy blocks the body kick.
Murpy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beerly throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Beerly fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Murpy checks it well. Beerly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murpy tries for a takedown but Beerly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Beerly misses with a looping left. Murpy with a jab. Beerly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beerly misses with a head kick.

Beerly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Murpy scores with a takedown into Beerly's guard. Murpy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Murpy trying to control the position from guard on top but Beerly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beerly controls Murpy momentarily but Murpy frees himself. Murpy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Murpy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Beerly stands up from mount. Strange move. Beerly on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Murpy blocks a jab.

Beerly tries to throw a body punch but Murpy avoids it by throwing Beerly back against the cage. Beerly lands a knee to the head.

Beerly misses with a knee to the head. Beerly is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Murpy is defending well for now. Murpy breaks the clinch.
Murpy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Murpy pushes down on Beerly's leg and manages to get into half guard. Murpy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beerly's head. Murpy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beerly is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Murpy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Murpy's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beerly nearly escaped from the position there. Beerly avoiding Murpy 's attempts to control his hands. Despite having Murpy's back, Beerly says stuff this ground business - let's go for a knockout! Murpy seems baffled but is happy to be out of the difficult position!
Beerly looks to land a body kick but Murpy moved away. Beerly tries a head kick but it misses.
Anderson Beerly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Beerly misses with a leg kick. A head kick misses from Beerly. Murpy scores with a takedown into Beerly's guard. Murpy wants to control from the top but Beerly keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beerly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Murpy is one step ahead there. Murpy is stalling in the full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Beerly is looking to stand up but Murpy isn't so interested in that idea. Beerly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Murpy drops back looking for a leg! Beerly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beerly manages to kick Murpy off! Murpy jumps back into Beerly's guard. Beerly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Murpy dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Murpy moves out of range of the strikes. Anderson Beerly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beerly is looking to chop away at Murpy's legs. Beerly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murpy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Beerly! Murpy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Murpy lands a big shot there that rocks Beerly but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Murpy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Murpy looking to control but Beerly is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Beerly bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Murpy has his foot on Beerly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beerly works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beerly wants to get up but he can't break Murpy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Murpy working a defensive guard here.

Beerly wants to stand and escape but instead Murpy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Murpy drops back looking for a leg! Beerly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beerly manages to kick Murpy off! Murpy jumps back into Beerly's guard. Beerly is trying to keep Murpy in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Beerly tries to land a sweep but no joy. Beerly has Murpy pulled in close to control his posture. Murpy stands and throws Beerly's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Beerly tries to bench press Murpy off him but Murpy keeps the position. Murpy scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beerly to see if he's OK. Murpy scoring with punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beerly manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Beerly wants to stand but Murpy has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Murpy is trying to get back to full guard. Murpy actively working from the bottom here. Murpy is trying to control but can't.

Beerly wants to get back to his feet.
Beerly gets to his feet - back to striking we go! No luck with that takedown attempt from Murpy. Beerly throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Beerly tries to work over Murpy's front leg with a kick but Murpy checks it. Murpy blocks a head kick by Beerly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Beerly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Beerly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Murpy feints and as Beerly raises his hands in defense, Murpy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Murpy throwing strikes but missing. Murpy trying to control the position from guard on top but Beerly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beerly controls Murpy momentarily but Murpy frees himself. Murpy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Beerly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Beerly controls Murpy momentarily but Murpy frees himself.
Anderson Beerly has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Murpy blocks the body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Murpy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Murpy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Beerly wants to get back to full guard. Murpy wants to control but Beerly is keeping him busy. Murpy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Murpy is working for a submission of some sort.
Murpy wants to free his trapped foot but Beerly is holding on for dear life with his legs. Beerly is controlling Murpy's position as best he can from this difficult position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Murpy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Murpy checks a leg kick nicely. Beerly is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Murpy. Beerly is looking to score with low kicks. Murpy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beerly tries to avoid it but Murpy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beerly to the ground. Beerly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Beerly gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Murpy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Murpy preventing the sweep. Beerly keeping moving, preventing Murpy from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beerly wants to stand up but Murpy is controlling him. Murpy lands a couple of digs. Murpy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Murpy lands a couple of decent looking shots. Murpy trying to control but Beerly is working from the bottom. Murpy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Murpy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Beerly manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Beerly is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beerly looks to land a body kick but Murpy moved away. Beerly throws the kick towards the body but Murpy avoids it. Murpy punishes Beerly's body with a nice straight punch. Jab, jab by Murpy - just one landing. Murpy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beerly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Beerly is not content to let Murpy control the position. Beerly tries to bench press Murpy off him but Murpy keeps the position. Beerly struggling a bit here. Beerly is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Murpy asserts his dominance and retains side control. Murpy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Beerly will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murpy has an Americana. Beerly didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Murpy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Murpy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
