Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starr slips a jab and a cross from Tank.
Starr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tank works over Starr's head and body with a nice combination.
Tank connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Tank has his foot on Starr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Starr works his way back into a safe position though.
Tank working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Starr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Starr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tank can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Starr controls the pace.
I looks like Starr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Starr decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Starr scores with a nice body kick.

Starr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tank throws a sloppy head kick
and Starr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tank's guard now.
Starr stays in close to Tank's body and controls the position.
Starr wants to get up but he can't break Tank's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Starr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tank's waist but Tank gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Starr off to one side.

and Starr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tank won't be happy with that.

Tank looks to score with a jab to the body but Starr is just out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
