Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton comes to the cage accompanied by voices. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Styles! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orton looks for a takedown but Styles sprawls well. Styles looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Orton rushes Styles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Orton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Styles scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Randy Orton has been cut. Styles misses with the combination.

Orton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Styles. Daniel Styles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Styles pinned against the cage. Styles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Orton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Styles was covering up waiting for the punch and Orton finishes the takedown easily into guard. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Orton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Orton stands up from half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Orton tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Styles walks away with a smile on his face. Orton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Orton dodges the punch combination from Styles.
Orton shoots in and drives through. Styles sprawls well. Styles misses with an uppercut. Orton saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Orton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Styles.
Styles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Orton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Styles is fending him off so far but Orton persists. Nope, Styles circles away and we're back to standing. Styles fails to land with a series of punches.

Styles lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Styles tries to keep at a distance but Orton has taken the fight into the clinch. Orton is trying to drag Styles to the mat but Styles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Orton throws a right hand that Styles ducks under and follows up with a left that Styles also avoids with ease. Orton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Styles striking off his back but it's not causing Orton any problems. Styles is striking off his back. Orton thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Orton controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Randy Orton showed his dominance in that final round. Well Orton has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
