Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between nico tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, nico tomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Victor Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

tomas has Hawk up against the cage in a clinch.

Hawk gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, tomas regains guard.
Hawk trying to control but tomas is working from the bottom.
Hawk with a nice head shot there.

tomas manages to escape and get back to his feet.

tomas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hawk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. tomas is in Hawk's guard.
tomas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hawk manages to escape and get back to his feet.
tomas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hawk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
tomas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

tomas scores with a takedown into Hawk's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hawk pushes tomas off and scrambles back to his feet.
Hawk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. tomas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
tomas throws a nice looking combination but Hawk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
tomas needs to keep his hands up - Hawk had a free shot at his head there.
Hawk swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and tomas counters with a head kick.
Hawk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches tomas on the side of the head.

Hawk tries to sprawl but tomas drives through with a takedown into half guard.
tomas stops Hawk from getting back to his feet.

tomas is trying to work for a kimura but Hawk is defending well.
tomas is breathing heavily.
tomas prevents Hawk from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawk kicks off tomas and gets to his feet.
tomas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hawk pinned against the cage. Hawk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hawk stalks tomas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into tomas's face. tomas staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like nico tomas has been cut.
tomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
tomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hawk as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for nico tomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hawk lands with a shot to the body.
Hawk lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hawk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by tomas.
tomas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hawk!

tomas is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Hawk knocks tomas out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
