Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Stulken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Stulken is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willy Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Stulken! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charles misses with the combination.
Stulken scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Charles pushes Stulken off looking to stand but Stulken dives back in and keeps control.
Charles wants to control but Stulken passes into side.
Charles tries to buck Stulken off but Stulken is having none of it. Stulken decides to stand back up. Stulken looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Stulken decides to return to a standing position. Charles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stulken scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Charles is looking for a sweep. Stulken decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stulken looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Stulken as Charles shoots in. Charles has his takedown stuffed and Stulken counters with a nice double leg into guard. Charles is breathing heavily. Stulken slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Charles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Charles tries to get out of the position. Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stulken decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Stulken pushes Charles up against the cage in a clinch. Stulken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Charles misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stulken shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Charles working to try and regain half guard.
Charles tries to hold on but Stulken pushes him away. Stulken controlling from the full mount. Stulken's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Stulken stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stulken closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard. Stulken stands up and beckons Charles to join him on the feet. Charles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stulken moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A solid leg kick lands there for Stulken.
Stulken closes the distance and clinches. Charles misses with a hook to the ribs.
Stulken lands a damaging elbow. Nice elbow from Stulken.
It looks like Willy Charles has been cut. Stulken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Charles on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stulken. Stulken obviously looking to wear him down.
Charles gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stulken gets to his feet - Charles follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stulken closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard. Stulken looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Charles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Stulken stands up and beckons Charles to join him on the feet. Stulken scores a takedown into full mount! Stulken controlling his opponent. Charles really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Jeremy Stulken dominated that round. The cut man is working on Willy Charles's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Stulken. Stulken has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Charles misses with a body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Charles looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Charles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Stulken delivers a nice body kick. Charles clinches. Stulken has picked Charles up - he's going for a ride! Stulken dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stulken passes the guard and advances to mount! Stulken takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Stulken has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stulken stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Jeremy Stulken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stulken closes the distance and clinches. Stulken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stulken closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard. Stulken decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Stulken stuffs the takedown attempt from Charles. Charles gets slowly back to his feet. Stulken has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Excellent takedown into side control there by Stulken.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Stulken presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Charles keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stulken stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Stulken gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stulken wants the takedown. Charles is fighting it off but Stulken persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Charles's guard against the cage. Charles looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stulken passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stulken decides to stand back up. Stulken throws a leg kick which misses Charles's front leg but catches the back leg as Charles tries to avoid it. Stulken closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Charles tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Stulken has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Stulken controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles gets tackled into the cage by Stulken. Stulken maintains the clinch. Stulken has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Charles regains guard immediately. Stulken preventing the sweep. Stulken gets to his feet - Charles follows without any prompting. Stulken decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Charles trying to get back to full guard but Stulken takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Stulken get's back to his feet. Charles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stulken decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Charles's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles wants to improve his position but instead Stulken has moved into half guard.
Stulken controlling the action here. Stulken escapes and gets back to his feet. Stulken instigates a clinch. Stulken gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Stulken stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stulken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles is fighting off a takedown attempt but Stulken is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Charles to the mat. Charles regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Stulken decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Stulken moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stulken has Charles pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stulken pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Charles tumbling to the mat - Stulken dives into Charles's guard. Charles looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Stulken puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Stulken decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Stulken fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Charles sprawls well initially but Stulken persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stulken passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Charles!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stulken sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Stulken gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Stulken shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Charles is trying to defend but Stulken finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stulken decides to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles tries to keep at a distance but Stulken has taken the fight into the clinch. Stulken is pressed up against the cage. Charles has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stulken down to the mat. Stulken avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stulken rushes Charles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Charles jumps guard but Stulken stands there with Charles around his waist. Charles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willy Charles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Charles digs a right hand into Stulken's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stulken's gas tank. Jeremy Stulken is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stulken connects with a knee to the head.

Stulken works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Stulken decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Charles, up you get! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stulken feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeremy Stulken comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stulken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
