Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vegas Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles tries to clinch there but Pop circles away.
Knuckles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pop manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knuckles is pushing down on Pop's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pop is fighting to maintain full guard but Knuckles has managed to sneak the leg through.
Pop is trying to escape back to his feet but Knuckles uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Pop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Knuckles on the ground.
Knuckles prevents Pop from escaping the position.
Knuckles decides to stand back up. Knuckles steps back and let's Pop get back to his feet.
Knuckles slips a jab and a cross from Pop.
Knuckles throws a right and a left that Pop avoids nicely.
Pop throws a head kick that misses.
Pop throws a sloppy head kick and Knuckles moves out of range easily.
Billy Knuckles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knuckles shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pop eats them both and turns towards Knuckles to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Pop takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Knuckles tries to close the distance and clinch but Pop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Knuckles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pop pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Knuckles thows a body shot but no joy.
Pop tries a head kick but it misses.
Pop throws a sloppy head kick and Knuckles moves out of range easily.

Pop closes the distance and pushes Knuckles back into the cage.

Knuckles swings wildly with an uppercut but Pop uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pop manages to break the clinch.

Pop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knuckles fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Knuckles or perhaps it was just good defense by Pop which made him look bad.
Pop throws a series of punches but Knuckles avoids them all with ease.
Pop showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knuckles.

and Pop counters with a head kick. That will keep Knuckles thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Knuckles is staying active underneath Pop, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Knuckles pushes Pop off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knuckles throws a right hand that Pop ducks under and follows up with a left that Pop also avoids with ease.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Knuckles misses with a hook to the body

Knuckles explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pop shoots in looking for a takedown but Knuckles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pop's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Knuckles slaps away a takedown attempt from Pop, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vegas Pop. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Knuckles is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Pop like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Pop from another fist facial!
