The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gory misses the shot to the body.
Gory fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Duck on the side of the head.
Duck throws a right and a left that Gory avoids nicely.
Gerard Gory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gory stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gory thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gory throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Duck counters by moving into the clinch.
Duck jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gory walks away with a smile on his face. Duck gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A head kick from Duck lands but Gory takes it in his stride.
Gory swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gory gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Duck is trying to break the clinch but Gory is controlling him.

Duck looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
