Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Bino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pedro Bino was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Ivanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Bino!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov drives through and clinches with Bino against the ropes.
Ivanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ivanov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bino defends it nicely.
Ivanov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Ivanov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bino tries to break the clinch but Ivanov is controlling the position.

and Bino counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ivanov wants to stand and escape but Bino is having none of it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ivanov decides to stand and escape the position.
Bino takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ivanov throws a combination. Bino tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ivanov misses with a few strikes there.
Ivanov looks for a takedown but Bino sprawls well.

Bino is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ivanov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Ivanov makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bino really felt that one!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ivanov stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Bino with that takedown attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ivanov has closed the distance and engaged Bino in a clinch.
Bino has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ivanov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
