Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between totoy bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Acer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bato kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is the show. The crowd seem to be enjoying Acer's choice of entrance music: Johnny I hardly knew ye. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bato tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Acer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Acer throws a one two combo.
totoy bato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Acer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Acer wants it to stay on the feet.
bato darts in and clinches Acer up against the cage.

Acer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Acer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and bato is able to avoid easily.
Acer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and bato counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

bato decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Acer, up you get!

bato has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from bato there as he acknowledges the shot.

Acer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Acer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. bato quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. bato manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
bato has control of Acer's left arm, preventing Acer from doing any damage.
Acer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Acer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of bato is proving hard to escape from.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Acer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. bato swivels though and keeps the full guard.
bato is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Acer is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Acer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. bato manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
