Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Sham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ace lands in his opponent's guard. Sham keeping moving, preventing Ace from controlling successfully. Sham is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sham is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sham being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sham working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ace. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sham can't escape the position.
Ace avoids the attempt from Sham to control. Ace looking to ground and pound but Sham is blocking nicely. Sham is trying desperately to improve position. Sham wants to control but Ace is having none of it. Sham is looking to get to half guard. Ace wants to stand but Sham is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sham wants to control but Ace is having none of it. Ace is working for a guillotine from mount but Sham frees his head quite easily.
Sham tries to lock up and control but Ace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ace throws some wild stikes that Sham manages to avoid easily.
Sham is desperately trying to improve his position but Ace has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ace content just to control the position here. Ace prevents Sham from getting the reversal. Ace trying to control but Sham is having none of it. Ace throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Ace throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ace wants to control the pace but Sham is squirming around nicely. Ace wants to take his opponent's back but Sham doesn't allow it. Ace is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ace wants to control the pace but Sham is squirming around nicely. Ace avoids the attempt from Sham to control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sham is trying desperately to improve position. Ace thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Sham is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Ace jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sham is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sham and Ace has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Ace wants to take a breather but Sham manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Ace. Sham controlling the position. Sham is trying to control the position but Ace postures up. Sham lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ace! Sham trying to control but Ace is having none of it.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Sham is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ace is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ace flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sham anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ace and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sham slips an arm under Ace chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sham has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sham is squeezing on Ace like an anaconda would it's prey. Ace fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
