Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peyote Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peyote Pete!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pete changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Pete manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pete fails with a takedown attempt.
Pete will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jake Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peyote Pete.
Pete shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pete showed some decent athleticism there.
Pete throwing shots but Smith is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pete stops Smith from getting back to his feet.
Pete winds up and cracks Smith with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Pete is trying for a kimura here. Smith looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pete wins by kimura!
