And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a lazy right hand but Corrida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pierre comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Corrida throws a body punch but Pierre moves out of range.
Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Corrida fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Corrida ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pierre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice inside leg kick there by Corrida. That's going to slow Pierre down.
A chopping leg kick lands by Corrida.
Pierre getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Pierre tries a low kick but Corrida avoids it.

Corrida attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Corrida changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pierre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pierre tries to improve position but can't.

Pierre is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Corrida looks up at the clock and then as Pierre takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Corrida smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pierre is trying to improve his position.
Corrida cracks Pierre with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Pierre takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Corrida looks up at the clock and then as Pierre takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Corrida smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Pierre is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Corrida is putting a hurting on Pierre here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pierre is rocked!
The referee asks Corrida politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Corrida prefers to stall for the moment though.
Corrida in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Pierre is still in real trouble! Can Corrida finish him?
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Corrida works to advance to full mount. Pierre defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Corrida drops a big elbow. That's hurt Pierre! More shots from Corrida and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
