Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Just (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Sardiini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Just might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Intriguing Possibilities- Trent Reznor. Sardiini has chosen We Are The Kings as his entrance music. Keijo Sardiini is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Just! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keijo Sardiini! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Just lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sardiini takes a step back to recover. Just takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sardiini moves into range and connects with a jab. Sardiini fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Just on the side of the head. Sardiini scores with a nice head shot. Just takes one to the side of the head.
Sardiini misses with a wild combination.
Just misses the jab. Sardiini dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Just. That did some damage! Sardiini dips to his left and cracks Just with an uppercut! Sardiini misses with the combination.
Sardiini throws a nice outside leg kick. Just keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Sardiini closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sardiini thows a left - swing and a miss! A big right from Sardiini misses. Sardiini throws a head kick that misses. Donk. Sardiini catches Just right on the button with a cross. Sardiini scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A jab from Sardiini misses. Just takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Just cracks a nice hook into Sardiini's ribs. Just bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Sardiini misses the jab. Just walks into a jab. Just steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sardiini. Sardiini on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Just. Just obviously looking to wear him down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Just trying to control but Sardiini is working from the bottom. Just drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sardiini looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sardiini looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sardiini! You can see the frustration on Just's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ground and pound from Sardiini seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Sardiini is looking to take a break and control but Just is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Just is trying to control Sardiini's posture but Sardiini avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Just gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Just wants to get back to full guard. Just avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sardiini. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sardiini is trying to control the action in half guard but Just is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Just tries to roll over but Sardiini keeps him under control. Just wants to control but Sardiini is keeping busy.
Just gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Just working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sardiini. Sardiini trying to control but Just is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sardiini seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Just not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sardiini has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Just is proving hard to escape from. Sardiini trying to control but Just is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keijo Sardiini dominated that round. That's time! Just's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sardiini misses with a hook. Just connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sardiini momentarily.

Just tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sardiini connects with a right hand. Just shakes it off. Just throws a leg kick that is checked and Sardiini counters with a lovely straight right hand! A lazy left from Sardiini finds it's target. Sardiini darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sardiini is looking to slow Just down with leg kicks. Nice cross by Sardiini. A low kick from Sardiini misses and Just counters with a body kick. Just closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sardiini quickly recovers to half guard. Sardiini really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Just. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sardiini is not content to let Just control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Just wants to pass to mount but Sardiini is defending the position. Just is keen to just control but Sardiini is a slippery customer. Just trying to mount his opponent but Sardiini defends it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Just works his way into side control. Just trying to control the position but Sardiini is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Just looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sardiini is avoiding damage well.
Sardiini can't do much from the bottom here. Sardiini is looking for a sweep. Sardiini prevents Just from moving into mount. Sardiini tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Just wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sardiini holding on. Just wants to take a breather but Sardiini manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Just.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Just missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Just passes easily into side control. Nice work. Just wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sardiini keeps working. Sardiini gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sardiini is trying is best to control the position here. Just is trying to control the action in half guard but Sardiini is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sardiini has a hand on Just's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Just takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Sardiini wants to hold on but Just pushes him away. Just lands a big shot there that rocks Sardiini but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
It looks like Keijo Sardiini has been cut. Just lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sardiini is bucking up trying to escape but Just cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sardiini sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Just doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sardiini counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Just turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. He's worked his way up against the cage but Just has just dragged him back down to the mat. Just throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Just working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Sardiini tries to improve position but can't. Just scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sardiini to see if he's OK. Just trying to control the action but Sardiini is working from the bottom. Just throws an elbow but Sardiini slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sardiini sneaks back into half guard. Peter Just overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Just is looking to stall here but Sardiini recovers full guard. Just trying to control the position from guard on top but Sardiini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sardiini working for submissions but it's allowed Just to get to half guard.
Just frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Just putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Sardiini wants to control but Just is having none of it. Sardiini is squirming around, avoiding Just's attempts to control the action. Just throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sardiini because Just loaded up on that one. Just lands a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Just is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sardiini can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Sardiini tries a low kick but Just avoids it. Just looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. That kick from Sardiini tenderised Just's leg. Just is trying to keep his angry face on. Sardiini throws a quick inside leg kick. Just tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sardiini throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sardiini lands with a nice body punch. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Sardiini throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Just moves out of range as Sardiini strikes. Sardiini throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Just stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Just uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sardiini. Sardiini sizes up Just with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sardiini uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Just on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sardiini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Just wants to clinch letting Sardiini counter with a right hand. Just takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Just with a poor takedown and Sardiini makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sardiini lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Just needs to keep his hands up - Sardiini had a free shot at his head there. Sardiini misses with a few strikes there.

Sardiini misses with a looping right. Sardiini misses with a leg kick and Just counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sardiini connects with the punch. Sardiini fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sardiini lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sardiini swings for the body but Just moves out of range.

Sardiini ducks under a wild hook from Just. Sardiini is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Just is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Sardiini throws a nice outside leg kick. Just gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Sardiini counter with a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sardiini misses with a low kick.

The crowd cheers as Sardiini lands an impressive looking overhand right. Just doesn't seem phased though. Just on the wrong end of a nice hook. Sardiini is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Just. Sardiini fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sardiini thumps Just with a low kick. A punch lands to the side of Just 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sardiini bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Sardiini takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that's the end of the fight! Keijo Sardiini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sardiini has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
