Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kink McKlusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Salazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kink McKlusky! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKlusky avoids the body shot from Salazar.
McKlusky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salazar tries to avoid it but McKlusky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salazar to the ground. Salazar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Salazar swings for the body but McKlusky moves out of range.
McKlusky misses with a takedown attempt - Salazar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kink McKlusky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McKlusky closes the distance and clinches. Salazar drops down looking for an ankle pick but McKlusky pulls his leg out and moves away.
An inside leg kick from McKlusky misses. McKlusky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McKlusky rushes Salazar and presses him up against the cage. Salazar tries to pull guard but McKlusky holds him up against the cage and eventually Salazar drops back down to his feet.
Salazar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A hook to the body from McKlusky.
McKlusky is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Salazar is trying to force a seperation but McKlusky has the dominant position. McKlusky tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salazar smiles and moves away.
Daniel Salazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kink McKlusky. Salazar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daniel Salazar. Salazar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McKlusky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salazar's guard. McKlusky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Salazar throws his legs up looking for a submission but McKlusky uses it to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McKlusky postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Salazar to stand up. McKlusky clinches but Salazar breaks the clinch and Salazar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Salazar is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salazar is trying to control the action in half guard but McKlusky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Salazar trying to pass the guard but McKlusky defending well. Salazar is thwarting McKlusky's attempts to control the position. McKlusky is looking to improve his position but Salazar isn't that keen on the idea. McKlusky is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McKlusky is just holding on here. Daniel Salazar dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McKlusky has his takedown stuffed and Salazar counters with a nice double leg into side control. McKlusky won't be happy with that. Salazar stands up and we're back to a striking position. McKlusky closes the distance but Salazar moves to the side and Salazar counters by clinching up. With the two fighters working up against the cage, McKlusky just misses with a elbow thrown towards Salazar's brow. McKlusky gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Salazar.
McKlusky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Salazar walks away with a smile on his face. McKlusky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Salazar slips a jab and a cross from McKlusky.
McKlusky tries to keep at a distance but Salazar has taken the fight into the clinch. McKlusky tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salazar smiles and moves away.

Salazar showed some decent athleticism there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! McKlusky is staying active underneath Salazar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKlusky is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Salazar scores with a couple of nice shots. McKlusky has one foot on Salazar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. McKlusky tries to clinch up. Salazar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McKlusky pinned against the cage. McKlusky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McKlusky scores with a nice right hand.

Salazar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Salazar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McKlusky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar wants to control from the top but McKlusky keeps moving. Salazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McKlusky wants to get back to his feet but Salazar is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McKlusky looking to control.

Daniel Salazar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McKlusky avoids the attempt from Salazar to control. McKlusky looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

McKlusky lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McKlusky looking to control but Salazar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McKlusky has control of Salazar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Salazar regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Salazar gets the takedown into side control. McKlusky tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ground and pound from Salazar seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Salazar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
McKlusky is looking for a sweep. McKlusky wants to get back to his feet but Salazar drags him back down. Salazar is looking to take a break and control but McKlusky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McKlusky tries to control but Salazar manages to take his back. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Salazar misses with punches from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salazar tries to keep control of the position but McKlusky is staying busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKlusky holding both Salazar 's hands and preventing any damage. McKlusky trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. McKlusky looking very determined here, making life difficult for Salazar.
McKlusky manages to reverse the position and now he's in Salazar's guard. Nice work there by McKlusky.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salazar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McKlusky! McKlusky is squirming around, avoiding Salazar's attempts to control the action. McKlusky is just holding on here. Salazar manages to take his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazar somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Salazar thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Salazar tightening his grip on McKlusky, looking for the choke. McKlusky looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. A lull in the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKlusky manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. McKlusky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. McKlusky decides to stand up, so the ref orders Salazar to his feet. Kink McKlusky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A jab from McKlusky misses. McKlusky swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Salazar scores a takedown into full mount! McKlusky is working to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Salazar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Salazar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
