Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Mccoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stonehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stonehouse comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Invaders Must Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Troy Mccoy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Mccoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Stonehouse! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mccoy lands the left hand. Mccoy swinging wildly here.
Mccoy scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mccoy connects with a looping right hand.
Stonehouse darts in trying to clinch and Mccoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mccoy moves into range and connects with a jab. Stonehouse wants to clinch and Mccoy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stonehouse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stonehouse uses his free foot to push down on Mccoy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mccoy. Mccoy tries to lock up and control but Stonehouse gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stonehouse can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mccoy is looking to escape. Mccoy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stonehouse manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mccoy to take his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccoy turns into Stonehouse and is now in his guard.
Mccoy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mccoy wants to pass the guard but Stonehouse is keeping the position. Stonehouse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mccoy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mccoy looking to sit in guard and control but Stonehouse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mccoy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stonehouse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stonehouse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stonehouse drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mccoy dives on top into guard. Mccoy trying to control but Stonehouse is working from the bottom. Mccoy advances position into side control! Mccoy stands up. Mccoy misses with a looping left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccoy with a hook. Mccoy swings for the body but Stonehouse moves out of range.
Mccoy throws a right hand that Stonehouse ducks under and follows up with a left that Stonehouse also avoids with ease. Stonehouse takes one on the button. Troy Mccoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mccoy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mccoy misses with the combination.
Danga de danga de dang - Mccoy scores with a four punch combination! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mccoy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stonehouse counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Mccoy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mccoy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mccoy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Stonehouse uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mccoy. Mccoy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stonehouse tries for a takedown but Mccoy circles away easily and Mccoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stonehouse wants to clinch and Mccoy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mccoy scores with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccoy misses with a wild body shot. Stonehouse closes the distance looking to clinch and Mccoy counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stonehouse doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mccoy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mccoy misses the shot to the body. Stonehouse gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mccoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Troy Mccoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Stonehouse.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccoy connects with a body shot. Stonehouse is breathing heavily. Mccoy misses with a looping right. Troy Mccoy is winning the standup battle so far. Stonehouse moves out of range as Mccoy strikes. Stonehouse gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. No joy there for Mccoy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stonehouse wants to clinch and Mccoy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mccoy scores with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccoy misses with a lunging right hand
and Stonehouse counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stonehouse tries to clinch and Mccoy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stonehouse thinking. Stonehouse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mccoy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stonehouse. Mccoy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stonehouse tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mccoy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mccoy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccoy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stonehouse takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mccoy cracks Stonehouse with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stonehouse wants to clinch but Mccoy slips to the side and Mccoy counters with a right hand to the body. Mccoy scores with a nice right hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mccoy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mccoy misses with a wild combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Mccoy dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Mccoy shoots in and bounces Stonehouse off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mccoy pushes down on Stonehouse's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mccoy trying to mount his opponent but Stonehouse defends it. Stonehouse is looking to improve his position.
Mccoy is looking to take a break and control but Stonehouse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mccoy connects with a nice short shot to Stonehouse's temple. Mccoy seems to be working for a kimura but Stonehouse defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccoy throws a strike but Stonehouse avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mccoy slips nicely into half guard. Mccoy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mccoy prevents Stonehouse from improving his position. Mccoy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Stonehouse wants to control but Mccoy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Stonehouse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stonehouse has hold of Mccoy's hands but Mccoy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Mccoy passes the guard and advances to mount! Mccoy lands with some strikes. Mccoy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccoy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mccoy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Stonehouse?
Stonehouse is rocked! Mccoy lands with some strikes. Stonehouse is still in real trouble! Can Mccoy finish him? Mccoy is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Stonehouse goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Mccoy!
